Rhodália Silvestre
A dinner, a full band, and a magical night.
I met Rhodália Silvestre in early 2025, recording her at Fábrica do Braço de Prata in Lisbon. She's an extraordinary singer who went on to wow the judges on Got Talent Portugal, and I invited her to come sing at a Garden Session, putting together a band to back her.
Mark Cain played alongside George Esteves — an old friend who's played piano everywhere from Ronnie Scott's in London to now performing internationally with his brothers in The Brothers — and Ian Carlo Mendoza, a hugely talented percussionist and drummer I met for the first time that night, through Mark.
We all had dinner together first, then recorded. It was a magical night.
